Every Plausive Technologies deployment runs on dedicated infrastructure managed by us. We don't pool customers onto shared environments. Your data is physically isolated — no cross-contamination, ever.

No Third-Party Access

Plaus doesn't phone home. It doesn't send data to OpenAI, Google, or anyone else. All processing happens within your isolated environment. Full stop.

Encrypted Everything

TLS in transit, encrypted at rest. SSH key authentication for server access. PBKDF2 password hashing with 100,000 iterations. No shortcuts.

No Vendor Lock-In

Your data is stored in standard formats in your isolated environment. If you ever leave, you take everything with you. We don't hold your data hostage.

Access Control

Role-based access to your portal. Only authorized users can interact with Plaus. Full audit trail of every conversation.

Automated Backups

Where exactly does my data live? ▶
On dedicated, isolated infrastructure that we provision and manage for you. Your data is completely separated from every other client. Plaus deploys in data centers of your choosing — US, EU, or wherever your compliance requires.
Can my employees' conversations be seen by Plausive Technologies? ▶
Only if you grant us access for support purposes. By default, we have maintenance access to keep your system running, but Plaus does not read your conversations. You can revoke our access at any time.
Is this HIPAA compliant? ▶
The architecture is HIPAA-ready — dedicated server, encrypted data, access controls, audit trails. For full HIPAA compliance, we'll work with you on a BAA (Business Associate Agreement) and any additional controls your compliance team requires.
What happens if I want to leave? ▶
You take everything. Your data is stored in standard formats (SQLite databases, JSON files, plain text). We'll help you export everything and decommission the server. No lock-in, no exit fees, no hostage data.
Do you use my data to train AI models? ▶
Absolutely not. Your data is yours. Plaus does not aggregate it, analyze it, or use it for anything other than running Plaus. Your business intelligence stays your business intelligence.
